Since our charter in 1976, Amvets Post 76 in Bay Shore, New York has been welcoming Veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all veterans serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your Country and Community.  A veteran, whether active duty, discharged, retired or reserved, is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to, and including, his or her life."
